Rippin' Shit Up

The folks over at Grand Good uploaded the tape that started it all, Rippin' Shit Up from my main mang, Rip One. I bought this at Beat Non Stop and after playing it for a week straight I decided to call the number on the back. We ended up taking turns cutting over the phone in true DJ nerd fashion and that was the beginning of Innernational. I haven't heard this in years so this should be a trip.

I've had people ask me about this before, so I thought I'd post it up. I made this a while back before I had any records out or a care in the world about what people thought. I was just trying to make what I felt. Most of this was made with an Ensoniq EPS (pre-ASR 10) and two 1200's, but I got buck and recorded a couple live instruments as well. I borrowed my cousin's drum set (that I hadn't played since Jr. High) and I had a good room to record in so I said fu¢k it and went in.
