Tour re-cap (so far)

So... part 1 of my tour with Exile is over for now and it's back to work. We're scheduled for a few dates with Grouch & Eligh on their "Say G & E" tour next month and then a possible run through Canada and Europe later this year. I'll keep you all posted. Should be crazy any way it goes...

I wrapped up the Alice Russel remix with my dude Clutchy Hopkins and now I'm all about finishing this studio and getting some new music together. I didn't realize how long it's been since I put out any of my own work (2 years?!). All these remixes, DJ gigs and tours have been cool and helped pay the bills, but it's time for me to get back in the lab and finish what I've started.

You can see all the photos from the tour here:

Here's some new footage of us live in Seattle on our last night of the tour.

Shout out to everyone who came to the shows and showed love, and everyone we met and/or chilled with along the way. There's waaaaaay too many people to name. We'll be back soon!

We're not done...we're not done!

...and I'm not dead. I'll have a new post up later today.
In the meantime, check out my girl Ragen Fykes who I was lucky enough to chill with in Portland last weekend. Best thing about touring is finding talented folks in every city and coming back with new music. Shout out to Ohmega Watts (I need that CD!) and Kenny @ Fresh Selects.
I'll have a full re-cap of the tour so far with Exile up soon. Cholla.

Windy C

Chicago was live! Always good to see my people out there. Respect and thanks to everyone who came through to the show despite the non-stop rain. I'm still not fully recovered from the weekend, but I did manage to bring some new music back from Chicago (big up Sean Doe). I must've played this 5 times back to back on the way home last night. Dude is a monster. Check out MC Adad flipping styles upon styles over Black Milk's Purple Tape. It's only a matter of time before this dude blows up.

Kingston Cardova/D.C.

Nothing like coming home to find records in your mailbox. I was lucky enough to score a copy of Black Cat's "Lovin' You" 7" from my man Jonny at Good Records NYC before I left for D.C.

I know this record has been in demand lately, so for those who are still looking for a copy

Black Cat - Kingston Cardova

BTW - D.C. was dope!

Thanks to everyone @ ESL and all the folks who came out. Big shout to Doc Delay, Dori, DJ Stylus, Zen, 1905 (D.C.'s best kept secret!) and that random ass lady who kept asking for John Legend.
