I'm not too good at making these lists. I always end up forgetting something mega, but there you go. Hopefully I won't be smacking my forehead like Homer Simpson later.

Damn, I can't believe it's been a year since I started this blog. Thanks to the folks who've been checking on the regular and everyone leaving comments (even the dude who tried to shoot an anonymous dis @ my PUTS remix - I see you).

Happy New Year! Here's to doing it big in '09!

Black on White Affair - Auld Lang Syne (Light in the Attic)

Have fun and be safe, peoples!

Man, I hate it takes these year-end lists for me to "discover" dope music that has been sitting on my laptop un-listened to (Trav Williams, Zed Bias).

The Kings Go Forth is massive. I had never heard of it... cheers

I think the Trinidad Bump was originally issued a few years ago.

Can't wait to hear what you and Exile got up to.

Ay yo, I just e-mailed your djday [at] djday account with an album that you may have missed. If you heard it, then SWEET - you the man. If you haven't, I'd love to know what you think about it.

Oh, 1000x thanks for the link love. I'm deeply honored.

I'm mad late to this list, but I'd also add the new Stereolab record (what?) Yeah; super poppy (even for them) but I was diggin' it.

Best of all though: Karl Hector & The Malcouns 'Sahara Swing' on Egon's Now Again imprint. SUPER HEAVY SOUNDS...liked it even better than that Menahan Street Band LP, and that's saying a lot.

Looking forward to another year of bloggin' and beats from you, Sir Day. Happy New Year!!

Peace,

Mr. Attention

Almost forgot my 2nd favorite album of last year: Koushik's new joint...Out My Window. Spacey, blissed-out psychedelic pop with that 70s groove and hip-hop bump.
