Everything in Time
New cut from DJ Center's new EP, Everything in Time. I got the promo last week and I've really been feeling this. With all the hectic schitt going on right now it's help put my mind at ease. Looking forward to hearing more original material from my man.

HAI GUYZ
As you probably know, I've been running around with Exile on tour in support of his new album, Radio (which dropped TODAY). Between shows and rehearsing...and Twittering (let's be real here), my blog has taken a backseat, but I'm home for a minute and back in effect working on a mix for Clutchy Hopkins and a remix for Alice Russell in my downtime.
Now that we're all caught up...why am I just now hearing about this guy?
*shout out to the homie Mr. Mass on the flick
I just got off the phone and my man mentioned he's working with Onra and I was like "who?". I'm sleeping!

Double Cheese
I was going through some records (how many times have I said that on this blog now?) and I came across a couple songs hidden on those budget records that plague this city like musical herpes.
I can't tell you how many Peter Nero & Ferrante and Teicher records I've had to weed through, but sometimes there's some decent cuts on those albums themselves - like this cover of Johnny Harris' "Footprints on the Moon" by Francis Lai and "Mozambique*" by _______ used on Edan's last album. Sit back, drink some wine in a box and enjoy.
I'm gonna be out for the next few days so have a good weekend! Be back on Monday.

I was digging through some music a friend gave me and found this cover of J.B.'s "Make it Funky" put out last year by Erik Rico on Jazzy Sport. Glad I found it cause the shit is dope.

Touchdown
Hey y'all, just got back in town last night. I got a whoooole lotta catching up to do so I'll make this short, but needless to say, NY is the shit! Big up to Moe Choi, Empanadamn (who held it down for real), $mall Change, J-Zone, Sabo, Good Records, DJ Still Life, Hollerboard massive, Amy Ruth's up in Harlem & everybody who came thru @ APT. Can't wait to go back.
Here's a cut from J-Zone's new album Live @ the Liqua Sto - def. a must. He made a whole album dedicated to those old St. Ides commercials from back in the day. Dude is on some next shit with this one.
